Horse Riding Over Dartmoor
|
|
There is quite superb riding that can be arranged from Holne Chase. The wilderness of Dartmoor or the more serene woodland rides are available from a selection of Stables nearby.
We will suggest specific yards to suit your ability and requirements, be they gentle hacking, more energetic bursts or hunting.
When asking us to make a booking for you we will require height, weight and ability of each person.

BRING YOUR OWN HORSE ON HOLIDAY TO DEVON
Stables have been re-built at Holne Chase behind the original block and now as a unique addition to the Hotel's facilities, over-night "DIY" Livery and parking for boxes/lorries is now available from £25.00 per night, per horse.
For instant access to the high moor and hacking all day without hitting a road, check into the hotel's sister Holwell Farm;
www.holwelldartmoor.co.uk
where 5 Star comfort in self catering cottages and stables awaits horse and rider. 500 acres of secure turn out too and 12 box yard.
Holne Chase is also renowned for its Dog Friendly attitude with over 50% of guests bringing their canine companions too. In addition to appealing for equine breaks, it is also hoped that many owners/trainers will consider an overnight "stop-over" when racing at nearby Newton Abbot and Exeter Racecourses. (20 mins each).
