For something really different, why not try your hand at the ancient art of Hawking on Horseback with resident falconer George Hedges.  Experienced riders only who would like to bring their own horse(s) down to Dartmoor.  Stabling and turnout available at nearby sister; Holwell Farm Cottages - www.holwelldartmoor.co.uk
