DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATIONS FOR HOTEL ROOMS & SUITES

A deposit of £50.00 per person will be deducted at the time of your booking, and credited to your bill on departure. In the event of a cancellation 10 days before your due arrival, the deposit will either be refunded to you or held against a future booking. Deposits will not be refunded if a cancellation is received within 10 days of the arrival date and the booking will be liable for the full amount, although this is at the discretion of the Hotel.

FOR GARDEN COTTAGE

A non-refundable deposit of £250.00 will be taken at the time of your booking by credit card for each week booked. 50% of the balance of your outstanding balance is payable one month prior to your arrival, which would not be returned in the event of cancellation, with the remaining balance payable on departure.

DAMAGE TO HOTEL ACCOMMODATION, STABLE SUITES & GARDEN COTTAGE

Any breakages or damage incurred to the properties will be charged.

PARKING

Ample car parking is provided at the hotel, but all cars are left at the owner’s risk.

PAYMENT

Due on presentation of bill. Cheques and Major Credit Cards accepted. With the exception of AMEX & DINERS.

ROOMS AVAILABLE

Hotel rooms & Stable Suites are available from 2.00 p.m with check out at 11.00 a.m. Garden Cottage will be available from 2.00 p.m with check out at 10.00 a.m.

ROOM SERVICE

Light meals served in bedroom (other than breakfast) £2.50 per person. Not available in the Stable Suites or Garden Cottage.

DOGS

Dogs are very welcome £7.50 per night. Not in public rooms (damage to be paid for).

CHILDREN

Children under 10yrs are not permitted to eat in the Restaurant during evening service. Instead we provide a high tea at 6pm; pre-booking required.

COUNTRY PURSUITS

As well as offering magnificent walks along the River Dart, in Chase Woods and on Dartmoor itself, we offer fly-fishing on our own beat (March to September) at £25.00 per rod per day (guests should be in possession of a NRA Licence). Gillies and equipment hire also arranged. For golfers there are reduced Green Fees at Wrangton, Hele Park and Dartmouth Golf and Country Club.
