We stayed at Garden Cottage for a week of cosy relaxation, and that is exactly what we got. A lovely cottage in beautiful grounds to explore and the comfiest beds we have ever found away from home. We will definitely be back next year.

We bought our entire family to Garden Cottage for a few days and simply did not want to leave. The cottage was lovely, well thought out and extremely comfortable. There was masses to do locally, and stunning grounds to explore. The owners are very lucky to live in a place like this. Our dogs did not want to come home with us! Thankyou for a wonderful, much needed break.

What a wonderful welcome we received at Holne Chase. The fire was lit, the heating on and more importantly the drive and entrance were gritted to stop us falling over. We were running late because of the icy weather, and our hosts telephoned to make sure we were alright and offered to fill up the fridge so we didn't have to go out again. That is service for you. We had a marvelous Christmas, complete with a beautifully decorated tree which the children loved. If only all Christmas's could be this relaxing and stress free. Thankyou so much for making it happen. You will be recommended to all our friends in Edinburgh.

Christmas as Grooms Cottage was lovely. We arrived to find a decorated Christmas tree which was a lovely surprise, as well as a bottle of fizz and some chocolates to welcome us. The drive had been gritted and the fire lit. Even the dogs had treats waiting for them. The thought that had gone into the cottage was brilliant and there really was everything we could want. Especially the log basket being filled up whilst we were out. We shall certainly be coming back with our children next year.
