If you fancy organising your own wedding or party we have a level, specially designed, marquee pitch on the south facing lawn in front of the mansion house, overlooking the ponds for hire at £1,500 per event.

This pitch can accommodate sizes of marquees from 50 to 500 people, and car parking for guests can be arranged on the lawn.

We have a list of recommended suppliers who can hire and erect all marquees, hire tables, chairs, all crockery and glasses.  We have a wonderful caterer to produce anything from a Hog or Lamb roast to a full sit down banquet.

The only condition is that you book all our cottages for your event.  This avoids the problem of upsetting other guests who would otherwise be disturbed by party noise;  please note that there are periods of the year where we have to give priority to week only bookings in our self catering properties and therefore the timing of hiring our lawn and cottages for an exclusive long weekend are restricted.
